IRS Tax Help Results in $203,000 Levy Being Released

A telecommunications company hired Omni after the IRS placed a $203,000 levy on their third party trust account. Even though Omni was not able to get the levy released before the client paid $203,000 to the IRS, they were able to submit a claim for a refund to the Taxpayer Advocate. Eventually, Omni was able to get the IRS to admit the levy was issued erroneously and refund the client the full $203,000.
